This lot includes a Ken Griffey, Jr. and Barry Bonds autographed limited edition lithograph. Including the frame, this piece measures 24" x 30". It is also signed by artist, Steve Hoskins, and hand numbered #126/300.

At the time this print was issued, Hoskins was not only one of Bonds’ closest friends, but his business partner as well, responsible for overseeing the sale and distribution of nearly all of the Barry Bonds memorabilia that flooded the hobby in the early 2000s. In recent years, however, their relationship has become extremely acrimonious. Bonds accused Hoskins of forging his name on memorabilia and embezzling money from the company. Hoskins retaliated by becoming an informant for the government in their case against Bonds and he is also believed to be one of the primary unnamed sources in the book Game of Shadows , which detailed Bonds’ use of steroids and performance-enhancing drugs. Thus, what was once an important limited-edition signed art print created as a tribute to Bonds' 500th home run now has an additional dimension of significance, with the artist himself being a principal figure in one of the most scandalous sports affairs of all time.

All three signatures on this piece are in pencil. A COA from Steve Hoskins is also included.
