A 19-time All-Star and two-time American League Most Valuable Player, Ripken is best remembered for breaking Lou Gehrig's record for consecutive games played, a record that had stood for 56 years and many deemed unbreakable. Cal was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007.

This authentic full size American Baseball Company Baltimore Orioles batting helmet was signed in silver by Ripken and hand numbered #16/21. This special edition batting helmet includes a decal on the side highlighting Cal's streak of 2,632 consecutive games played. This helmet includes both a Steiner hologram as well as a Ripken hologram.
