Cal Ripken, Jr. tied the consecutive games played record on September 5, 1995, in his 2,130th consecutive game. Cal's breaking of Gehrig's record was voted by fans as the league's "most memorable moment" in an MLB.com poll; Ripken voluntarily ended his 17-year streak at 2,632 games, in 1998.

This September 5, 1995 game ticket is in excellent condition with no rips or creases. It is embossed with the special number 8 logo used during the 2,130 and 2,131 games.
