Nicknamed "The Human Vacuum Cleaner" or "Mr. Hoover", Brooks Robinson is
considered one of the greatest defensive third basemen in major league
history. He won 16 consecutive Gold Glove Awards during his career, tied
with pitcher Jim Kaat for the second most all-time for any player at
any position. Robinson was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1983.
Brooks Robinson will forever be a part of the Baltimore Orioles as a statue of him has been erected near the ballpark. This 22" x 24" lithograph depicts that very statue. It has been signed in pencil by both Robinson and the artist. It is hand numbered #39/100. This lithograph includes a copy of the letter of provenance from Heritage Auctions and The Brooks Robinson Collection.
