Lot Description  

The 2001-2002 Maryland Terrapins basketball team was led by head coach Gary Williams and played their home games at Cole Field House. The Terrapins were champions of the 2002 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament, earning the first national championship in school history.

This Rawlings NCAA Indoor/Outdoor basketball was signed in black by 16 members of the 2002 National Championship team. Signatures include:

Gary Williams, Juan Dixon, Steve Blake, Lonny Baxter, Tahj Holden, Mike Grinnon, Earl Badu (d. 2012), Andre Collins, Byron Mouton, Chris Wilcox, Drew Nicholas, Ryan Randle, Calvin McCall, and Asst. Coaches Jimmy Patsos, Matt Kovaric, and Dave Dickerson
