Lawrence Taylor, or L.T., is considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of football, and has been ranked as the greatest defensive player in league history by former players, coaches, media members, and news outlets such as the NFL Network, and Sporting News. He played his entire career with the New York Giants and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999.

Joe Theismann played in both the NFL and CFL but achieved his most enduring fame in his 12 seasons playing for the Washington Redskins, where he was a two-time Pro Bowler and quarterback of the winning team in Super Bowl XVII. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
