A 19-time All-Star and two-time American League Most Valuable Player, Ripken is best remembered for breaking Lou Gehrig's record for consecutive games played, a record that had stood for 56 years and many deemed unbreakable. Cal was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007.
This 9.75" x 10" home plate features Cal Ripken, Jr.'s 2131 logo and was signed by Cal in blue. This piece includes both an Ironclad and MLB hologram. The signature is a tad faded, as shown in photos. There is also a small hole in the top center where it had been hung.
