Oriole Park at Camden Yards opened on April 6, 1992 with the Orioles hosting the Cleveland Indians. The great success of Camden Yards which followed sparked a trend in the construction of more traditional, fan-friendly ballparks in downtown locations across the U.S. Indeed, by the 2012 season, all but two teams (the Toronto Blue Jays and Oakland Athletics) played in baseball-only parks. The first run scored at Camden Yards occurred when Chris Hoiles hit a ground rule double that brought in Sam Horn. The Orioles went on to win the game 2-0 on Rick Sutcliffe's shutout.

This Winler's Design, Inc. Oriole Park at Camden Yards snow globe stands roughly 7" tall and is about 6" wide at its widest point. This snow globe winds up on the bottom and plays "Take me out to the ballgame."
