Much like their Davy Crockett set that was issued a few years prior, in 1957 Topps came out with Robin Hood trading cards based on the popular Robin Hood film which later became a hit television program. The 1957 Robin Hood set consisted of 60 cards featuring color photographs of scenes from the movie along with a short caption on the bottom, which gives a hint as to what scene is being depicted. When turned over, the reverse gives a more lengthy description of the scene on the card front.

The cards in this set are in excellent condition for the most part with some being a little better and some being a little worse.
