This lot features a ticket stub from the Orioles 1982 opening day game at
Memorial Stadium. This ticket is historic because then rookie (and
future hall of famer), Cal Ripken, Jr. smashed the first Major League
home run of his illustrious career over the left field wall of Memorial
Stadium. The Orioles went on to beat the Kansas City Royals 13-5 that
day.
This ticket has a crease through the center but is in otherwise good shape with no rips or writing.
