The 1966 Orioles finished first in the American League with a record
of 97 wins and 63 losses, nine games ahead of the runner-up Minnesota
Twins. It was their first AL pennant since 1944, when the club was known
as the St. Louis Browns. The Orioles swept the NL champion Los Angeles
Dodgers in four games to register their first-ever World Series title.
The team was managed by Hank Bauer.
This 1966 Baltimore Orioles yearbook features Curt Blefary, Boog
Powell, Brooks Robinson and Frank Robinson on the cover and is in good condition with no rips or creases. There is some light wrinkling and a blue date stamp above Frank Robinson.
Also included are a 1966 American League Champions button and a 1966 World Series Champions button. Both buttons are 3 1/2" in diameter and in great shape.
