The 1971 Topps Football Card Set includes 263 standard size cards, and was issued in two series. The second series, which is comprised of cards #133 to #263,were issued in smaller numbers and comprise about 75% of the set's value. The AFC players have red borders, while the NFC players are bordered in blue. These colorful borders, along with centering issues, make 1971 Topps football cards in pristine condition, very hard to find.
The 1971 Topps Football Card Set contains cards of over 50 future Hall-of-Fame players, six of which are also the player's rookie card. The key rookie cards are both Steelers: #156 Terry Bradshaw and #245 Mean Joe Greene.
