Their metamorphosis from Browns to Birds complete, the Baltimore Orioles
took flight on April 13, 1954 at Detroit’s Briggs Stadium. Though
felled, 3-0 by the Tigers that day, the O’s were quick to take shape
into baseball’s most dominant team of the 1960s and 1970s. This program
and ticket stub were issued in the Motor City for that first-ever
Orioles game! The 12-page program presents (EX) with scoring grids
marked in pencil and some paper loss on the back. This program is crease-free. The ticket stub, meanwhile, has some minor creasing through the printed date and some minor paper loss on the back.
